Machine Operator
As a Machine Operator, you will operate various machines such as lasers, CNC mills/lathes, Angle-masters, and Press Brakes. Your work will involve cutting, folding, bending, drilling, and molding steel for the construction of catwalks, stairs, and other agricultural structures. You will ensure precision by measuring, checking, and signing off on all parts to match production prints. Responsibilities
Operate a minimum of three machines autonomously Measure and verify parts against production prints. Engage in clear communication with detailing, industrial engineer technicians, and others regarding prints, programming, tooling, and equipment issues. Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, jib cranes, and other equipment to move raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Train others on machine controls, processes, and overall machine use. Essential Skills
Experience in machine operation, including CNC, laser, and press-brake machines. Proficiency in reading blueprints and using a tape measure. Prior experience in a steel manufacturing environment. High school diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Off-line programming ability is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Why Work Here?
