Lathe Machinist

We are seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to run production on CNC machines, ensuring precision by inspecting and measuring parts to maintain tolerance. The role demands punctual attendance and adherence to good organizational and housekeeping practices to keep the work area orderly. Responsibilities

Run production on CNC machines and ensure quality by measuring parts in accordance with the measurement schedule. Change inserts and adjust machine offsets as needed to keep production flowing smoothly. Provide feedback to programmers and offer suggestions for continual improvement. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Alert supervisors to any breakdowns, leaks, quality issues, or production slowdowns. Collaborate as a team to handle occasional sorting or deep cleaning tasks. Communicate daily with supervisors and alternate shift counterparts. Follow all company procedures and policies. Fill out production cards daily to document time spent on production, maintenance, cleaning, etc. Essential Skills

Proficiency in operating lathe machines and CNC setup. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in machining and inspection using calipers and micrometers. Familiarity with Fanuc and Haas systems. Strong math skills, including addition and subtraction; knowledge of trigonometry is helpful. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Willingness to learn measuring techniques using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. Openness to instruction and learning for personal and company betterment. Polite and professional communication skills. Safe and cautious handling of equipment with careful judgment. Why Work Here

This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
