Business Systems Analyst

to join their team in a hybrid capacity. This role is focused on Data Integration projects, where the Analyst will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting both business and technical requirements. Work model:

Hybrid What you will do: Facilitate and lead interviews with business and technology stakeholders to understand business and system needs Translate needs into effective business and functional requirements documents; ultimately, designs will transform or change business practices, workflows, and systems Employ various business analysis techniques to create business and functional requirements (Current and future state process models, context diagrams, business rules, use cases, entity relationship diagrams, user stories) Analyze business problems and influence the recommendations for creative solutions; follow a logical process and present alternative solutions to enable decision-making Support data gathering for business case and cost benefit analysis (CBA) documents Facilitate, prioritize, propose, and document business process re-design; remove or eliminate manual business processes wherever possible Partner with Quality Assurance (QA); identifies and documents testing considerations, develop traceability matrices, and coordinates User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business areas Increase business acumen and awareness of best practices to improve business analysis capabilities continuously What you will need to be successful: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and applicable work experience required 4+ years of business analysis experience Understands and employs business analysis concepts (business process modelling (BPM), context diagrams, use cases, user stories) Proficient with Project Management and Software Development Life Cycle methodologies (SDLC) Awareness of agile methodologies Experience using Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access, Visio, Project, PowerPoint) Benefits overview:
