As a Security Guard - Unarmed Post - Full Time in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a leading automotive location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. You will interact with employees, visitors, and guests, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.45 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Monday 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Tuesday 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Wednesday 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Saturday 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM Sunday 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives. Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence. Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific guidelines. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
