Structural Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Structural Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in producing precise construction documentation, coordinating BIM models, and supporting structural engineers and architects throughout the design and construction process. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for delivering high-quality structural solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed structural views and construction documentation for buildings and infrastructure projects. Collaborate closely with structural engineers and architects to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings. Coordinate and manage BIM models using Revit, ensuring alignment across disciplines. Integrate structural drawings with architectural, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery. Review and interpret shop drawings for accuracy, compliance, and constructability. Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress, resolve coordination issues, and ensure alignment with project goals. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in Revit Structure, structural steel detailing, and BIM coordination. Strong understanding of heavy structural systems, including concrete, steel, and wood. Ability to collaborate effectively with the Engineer of Record (EOR) and other project stakeholders. Minimum five years of experience in structural detailing or equivalent technical education. Familiarity with ArchiCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Navisworks, or other BIM collaboration tools. Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
