Machine Operator
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring machines that produce chocolate and filling boxes with the finished product. When not occupied with machine operations or packaging, you are expected to engage in cleaning or other productive activities. The role is generally slow-paced but demands attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. You will be involved in mixing, batching, panning, and packing tasks and must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities
Stand throughout the shift to monitor chocolate-making machines. Fill boxes with finished products by holding them under the machine. Engage in cleaning or other productive activities when machines are not in operation. Ensure accurate labeling of products after packaging. Measure and weigh products into pre-made boxes with liners. Mix ingredients accurately using precise sheets for verification. Operate and troubleshoot machines, including changing over setups. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and forklift skills. Essential Skills
At least 4 years of manufacturing experience, with recent experience in a manufacturing plant within the last year. Mechanical aptitude. Experience in packing, palletizing, visual inspection, machine operating, and blending. Ability to maintain productivity during slow work periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prefer at least 6 months of manufacturing experience; food manufacturing experience is a plus. Desire to advance within the company. Team player mentality. No food allergies. Adherence to safety guidelines such as no jewelry, fake nails, or eyelashes. No Facial Piercing Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
