Student Associate - CNS IT
We are seeking a proactive and goal-focused student worker to join our IT Support teams. As a member of our IT team, you will play a key role in providing assistance to CNS OIT users and departments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in IT support while contributing to the smooth operation of our department. IMPORTANT: Applicants must be actively enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin. Must be authorized to work in the US. Assist the CNS IT team with Tech Support, Inventory, or Security tasks and provide excellent customer service to end users. Use the ServiceNow ticketing system to triage incoming requests and assign them appropriately. Provide prompt, courteous, and effective customer service. Transport equipment (computers, printers, phones) between CNS buildings on the UT Main Campus. Perform technical tasks including hardware setup, password resets, network patching, and software updates. Support ongoing projects in CNS IT Support, Inventory, and Security. Collaborate on developing and improving technical processes as well as new procedures and improvement of existing processes. Assist with office administrative duties and communications. Other related responsibilities and functions as assigned. Required Qualifications
