Process Technician

As a Process Technician, you will provide essential support for blow molded plastic processing operations. This role requires you to be on the floor, supporting blow molding machine operations, and troubleshooting various manufacturing issues, including the material feeding system, blow molding, cooling, welding, Vision Systems, and leak testing equipment. Responsibilities

Provide troubleshooting and problem-solving support for manufacturing issues. Perform mechanical troubleshooting on gears, bearings, and sprockets. Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V 3-phase. Work with Fanuc Robots, PLCs, smaller hydraulic presses, and welding equipment. Perform reactionary and preventative maintenance tasks. Collaborate with lower-level technicians to repair facility issues. Essential Skills

Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues including hydraulics and pneumatics. Experience in electrical troubleshooting up to 480V 3-phase, including motors, VFDs, and sensors. 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with plastics, particularly blow molding or injection molding. Familiarity with Siemens PLCs. Experience with ladder logic, robotics, and Fanuc Robots. Why Work Here?

You will work in a fast-paced, climate-controlled facility dedicated to manufacturing gas tanks. The environment is clean and comfortable, with temperatures not exceeding 90 degrees in certain areas. The facility promotes teamwork and self-development, with a casual work environment requiring over-the-ankle steel toe shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs. Shifts available include 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd Shift (10pm-6am), and training will be on 1st shift for 30-90 days. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of AVILLA, Indiana. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
