Senior Accountant

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Boca Raton, Florida. This role requires an experienced and detail-oriented individual with extensive expertise in managing accounting functions, performing financial analyses, and ensuring compliance with international standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of the organization. Responsibilities: Manage general ledger activities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, leasing, and journal entries. Perform month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting. Reconcile and analyze balance sheets and profit-and-loss statements to support decision-making. Handle treasury functions, including cash reconciliations across multiple banks and currencies. Collaborate on intercompany transactions and foreign currency exposure (FX) management. Provide support during external audits, including preparation of documentation and coordination with auditors for statutory audits. Review financial statements for accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze financial data and optimize reporting processes. Work effectively within a team to meet deadlines and adapt to a high-paced environment. Demonstrate a commitment to the duration of the project, with potential extensions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degrees such as a Master's in Accounting or Finance are preferred but not required. Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting within large organizations. Proficiency in multiple accounting software platforms and advanced Excel capabilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with foreign currency transactions, intercompany transactions, and FX exposure. Familiarity with general ledger functions, including AR, AP, fixed assets, leasing, and journal entries. Proven ability to manage treasury functions and cash reconciliations. Experience with external audits and statutory audits for international entities is a plus.
