Wire Harness Assembly Technician

Are you experienced in wire harness building within Military, Aerospace, Aviation, or heavy industrial industries? Do you thrive in a rapidly evolving, innovative start-up environment? As a Wire Harness Assembly Technician, you will support all wire harness and cable assembly for the Assembly/Production department, working alongside a manufacturing team of 15-20 to build large industrial wire harnesses from scratch. These harnesses are akin to those found in Aviation or Aerospace assemblies and include D399 connectors. Experience in Aviation/Aerospace/Military harness assemblies is highly preferred. The role demands the ability to read and interpret drawings and create harnesses without completed schematics. Ideal candidates are passionate about mechanical projects and problem-solving, with experience in start-up or manufacturing environments. Responsibilities

Support all wire harness and cable assembly for the Assembly/Production department. Work collaboratively with a manufacturing team of 15-20. Build large industrial wire harnesses from scratch, start to finish. Read and interpret electrical drawings to create complex wire harnesses. Utilize mechanical and electrical assembly tools, including torque wrenches, crimpers, and cutting tools. Essential Skills

Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience in building harnesses for Aviation, Aerospace, Military, or Boat assemblies. IPC-620 certification or experience with D399 connectors. Proficiency in cutting, crimping, and labeling wires. Ability to interpret drawings to create complex wire harnesses from scratch. Self-starter with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience as an aircraft mechanic with dynamic mechanical and electrical expertise. Experience working in the early stages of a start-up company. Interest in mechanical projects during spare time. Proficiency in Microsoft applications. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Why Work Here?

Work in a climate-controlled assembly shop and corporate headquarters offices. Enjoy a friendly, driven, and collaborative culture. This role offers multiple openings on the 2nd shift, from 3 pm to 11:30 pm. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
