As a Security Officer - Residential Site - Afternoon Shift in North Myrtle Beach, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at a residential location, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment for residents and visitors. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property to help to deter security-related incidents. You will be a visible presence, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to inquiries and assisting residents as needed. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $13.27 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location. Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for the community. Verify credentials of individuals entering the property and maintain accurate records of visitor and resident access as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, guests, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, concerns, or site updates. Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal procedures. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
