Performance Analyst For THAAD Interceptor

As a Performance Analyst for THAAD Interceptor, you will directly help establish the technical solution for one of our country's most vital and complex missile systems. THAAD provides mobile and deployable ground-based missile defense as part of the Missile Defense System. You will work closely with a team of top technical talent from across the program to provide the best, integrated solution that meets overall performance, cost, and schedule needs. In this role you will: - Utilize models and simulations to predict performance, conduct trade studies, and allocate requirements across the THAAD technical domains to optimize system design - Develop models and simulations to accurately predict the behavior of the THAAD Interceptor system, addressing the Interceptor, environments, and threat systems - Create performance predictions for THAAD development activities such as flight tests, and validate results using post-flight data - Integrate lower level (e.g. subsystem) models and results into the system model to create a comprehensive perspective of system performance - Guide hardware subsystem development by analyzing subsystem contributions to system performance, updating and creating models, and allocating requirements - Brief management and customers on predicted performance resulting from hardware and software design changes - Use your excellent communication skills to work across the Lockheed Martin organization and customer/user community to ensure consensus and understanding of system performance and trades - Support operational analysis and ongoing production To promote the sharing of ideas, Lockheed Martin cultivates an inclusive work environment that inspires differences and big-picture thinking. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
