Forklift Operator
We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team. The primary responsibility is to operate a sit-down forklift within our facility, handling and moving palletized products, which mainly consist of scrap and waste materials from the production process. The materials handled are lightweight items used in the manufacturing of medical equipment, such as test tubes for drug kits and needles. Responsibilities
Operate a sit-down forklift to transport materials within the facility. Handle and move palletized products, primarily scrap and waste materials. Assist in unloading and loading shipments. Participate in shipping and receiving operations. Order picking and general material handling tasks. Essential Skills
Proficiency in operating a forklift. Experience in material handling and general labor tasks. Ability to use a pallet jack. Skills in loading and unloading shipments. Work Environment
The work environment includes a mix of clean and less clean areas, typical of a warehouse setting. Most of the plant is climate-controlled with heat and AC. The dress code requires safety gear such as safety boots (composite or steel toes), safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety colors. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
