This Position reports to: Engineering Manager Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Maintenance team. Each day, you will conduct activities according to agreed maintenance guidelines and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment and production line. The work model for the role is: onsite and requires off-shift work Job Duties will include the following: Electrical

Troubleshooting control problems Reading electrical prints Understanding PLC's and their programs Troubleshooting VFD controls and motors Installing conduit and pulling wire

Mechanical

Reading mechanical drawings and assembly prints Gearbox and mechanical drive repairs Mechanical punch press repair Conveyor repairs Brake and clutch replacements

Hydraulic

Reading hydraulic prints and understanding how a basic system works Troubleshooting hydraulic issues Component identification and replacement

Pneumatics

Reading schematics and understanding how systems work Troubleshooting problems

General Maintenance responsibilities including:

Welding and fabrication Painting, building maintenance, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning (limited) Preventative maintenance Other tasks as directed

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Trade school or college classes preferred. Specialized Skills/ Experience: Prefer (8) eight years' experience in Industrial Manufacturing environment as a Maintenance Mechanic Industrial Electrician with blue print reading skills, PLC and electronics knowledge strongly desired Must be able to read and understand written and verbal directions Must be able to interpret various measuring devices, have good shop math and mechanical abilities Have the ability to troubleshoot, in a timely manner, different types of problems with automated machinery, presses, furnaces, HVAC, some plumbing, and other types of equipment as needed Must be able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment and repair it Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings/blueprints and understand electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics Must be able to weld, have good use of hand tools, power tools and test equipment Good team player, with displayed ability to work independently and safely We value people from different backgrounds.
