We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Ground Support Equipment Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting diesel engines and ground support equipment. Your expertise will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment, supporting our operations seamlessly. Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and ground support equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues. Conduct inspections to identify and resolve potential problems. Replace or repair faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and reliability. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks. Essential Skills
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and ground support equipment. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (must have own set of tools) Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in diesel mechanics or related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role. Valid driver's license. Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment. Why Work Here?
