This position reports to: Quality Manager In this role, you will support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also collaborate with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance. This role is contributing to ABB Electrification Distribution Solutions division at our Manufacturing facility in Mebane, NC. The work model for the role is: Onsite Key Responsibilities

Quality Strategy & Leadership: Drives deployment of quality strategy and objectives within the local ABB unit. Acts as a process owner for quality-related systems, tools, and processes, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with ABB standards. Collaboration & Communication: Partners with local management to shape functional quality initiatives and communicate relevant updates. Promotes the voice of the customer and ensures stakeholder perspectives are considered in risk and solution evaluations. Training & Development: Develops and delivers training materials and sessions on quality management systems and practices. Leads implementation of operational approaches and evaluates their effectiveness. Risk Management & Compliance: Identifies and addresses risks and opportunities using data analytics and audits. Supports resolution of customer cases through root cause analysis and corrective actions. System & Process Excellence: Maintains and improves the local quality management system, ensuring repeatable and flawless execution. Coordinates benchmarking activities and cross-unit initiatives to challenge the status quo and enhance quality. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 4+ years of manufacturing experience. ERP experience (SAP is preferred). Metal fabrication skills such as punching, bending, blue print reading, epoxy & p-coat paint knowledge highly desired. Candidates must already have a work authorization that allows them to work for ABB in the United States.
