Allied Universal is seeking a Security Professional for a manufacturing site in Forest, MS. This part-time role offers flexibility and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the security industry. As a Security Officer, you will conduct patrols, provide customer service, and respond to incidents to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Position Type:

Day Time Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the food and beverage production location to help to deter unauthorized access. Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or delivery personnel as needed. Document incidents and complete required reports in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
