About Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Royal Oak Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital opened on Jan. 24, 1955 as a 238-bed community hospital. Today, the hospital is a 1,101-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult trauma and Level II pediatric trauma designations. Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital has 43 residency and fellowship programs with 454 residents and fellows. Corewell is the exclusive clinical partner of the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine, with more than 1,400 doctors on faculty. Scope Of Job Under the direction and supervision of a pharmacist, performs a variety of functions related to preparation, storage, distribution, and dispensing of prescriptions. Within the hospital, rotation through IV admixture and unit dose service is routine. Rotation to OR pharmacy services and outpatient pharmacy services may be required. Performs data entry and other record keeping functions as determined to be necessary to the operations of the department. Qualifications A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED. Experience with sterile compounding and/or 6 months technician experience and/or graduate of an ASHP accredited technician training program.
