Shipping and Receiving Worker

As a Shipping and Receiving Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods in and out of our facility. You'll be responsible for inspecting incoming shipments, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining inventory records, and collaborating with internal departments to support production and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders. Prepare and package outgoing shipments with correct labeling and documentation. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate inventory records using digital systems. Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies. Ensure the shipping/receiving area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Essential Skills

Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes. Experience in forklift operation. Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse inventory management. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to operate material-handling equipment safely and efficiently. Experience in maintaining accurate inventory records. Strong communication skills for vendor and team collaboration. Why Work Here?

Work primarily on the 1st shift from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional Saturday shifts from 6 am to 11 am. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, Illinois. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
