Yes - Must be available to support DTE's emergency response efforts during storms or other events impacting service. Job Summary

Provides guidance to development staff on application development and testing, including leading teams, recommending programming languages and tools, supporting testing, and documenting requirements. Supports application support levels 2 & 3, participates in projects, and creates application code following DTE Standards. Provides technical direction to junior developers. Key Accountabilities

Designs and develops application code, queries, scripts, and web pages. Conducts unit tests and designs applications. Responsible for technical design, development, and deployment of applications. Provides planning and estimates for assignments. Keeps up-to-date with technology trends and incorporates standards into procedures. Mentors junior developers, performs code reviews, and explains technical concepts. Participates in testing and provides input on testing approaches. Develops and delivers presentations. Works collaboratively across multiple teams. Creates design documentation, including UML diagrams and deployment plans. Translates business requirements into technical specifications. Minimum Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree + 5 years related experience OR Associate degree + 7 years related experience OR High school diploma/GED + 9 years related experience Preferred Qualifications

Degree in IT or related field Experience with current development technologies (e.g., Oracle, Java) Experience with PowerApps and Alteryx Other Requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and communication skills Knowledge of DTE IT methodologies and industry standards Ability to work independently and lead when needed Additional Information
