ECS is hiring a Geotechnical Principal / Branch Manager to lead and expand our Southwest operations in Denver, CO. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity, ideal for a licensed engineer with at least 12+ years of experience in geotechnical reporting, analysis, and design. You will serve as both a technical expert and operational leader, driving excellence across geotechnical services and helping us grow our Colorado footprint. Key Responsibilities: Provide senior technical expertise across projects and guide regional geotechnical staff Contribute heavily to business development and client relationship growth Attend and lead project meetings with clients and ECS staff to deliver technical solutions Mentor Associate Principals and participate on the review committee for their designation Oversee project delivery, perform technical report reviews, and manage proposal preparation Lead departmental operations, including budget and P&L managements Support hiring managers with strategic staffing decisions Coach junior team members and collaborate across Construction Materials Testing (CMT) teams as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering Minimum of 12 years of related geotechnical experience Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required in the state of Colorado Experience as a designated senior reviewer at a prior firm Valid driver’s license required if driving for or on behalf of ECS What We Offer: Leadership role with strategic growth responsibility in the Denver market Platform to shape regional geotechnical practices and mentor future leaders Competitive compensation and benefits Opportunities for cross-functional collaboration across engineering disciplines Seniority level
