Permanent / Full-time Compensation:

Competitive and commensurate with experience (multiple openings available) About the Role We're seeking highly skilled

Signal Integrity Engineers

to join a top-tier hardware engineering team developing next-generation networking, server, and storage technologies. This is a

permanent, on-site position

located in either Richardson, TX or San Jose, CA. As a

Signal Integrity Engineer

, you'll serve as a subject matter expert in high-speed signal delivery and analysis. You'll work cross-functionally on complex PCB designs, performing simulations, lab testing, and root cause analysis to ensure signal quality and system performance. You will also participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Design and validate high-speed signal paths for digital and analog interfaces. Perform 2D/3D simulations (e.g., S-parameters, eye diagrams, crosstalk, impedance control). Conduct lab measurements including TDR and VNA; develop custom test fixtures. Collaborate with hardware, layout, and system engineering teams on board design and stack-up. Evaluate and model component-level behavior (e.g., Touchstone files). Drive design decisions balancing performance, manufacturability, and cost. Support signal integrity across complex PCBAs (36+ layers), connectors, flex circuits, and cabling. Required Skills & Experience 5 to 20+ years

of experience in high-speed signal integrity engineering. Strong background in PCB signal integrity (both on-board and off-board transmission). Proficient in tools like

ADS, ANSYS HFSS, Sigrity

, and

Allegro

or similar ECAD platforms. Experience with

single-ended and differential signaling up to 50Gbps

, including

NRZ and PAM4 . Deep understanding of

PCB design fundamentals

, crosstalk, impedance, and loss modeling. Skilled in generating and analyzing

eye diagrams

, and interpreting both time and frequency domain results. Familiar with

PCB stack-up design

, fabrication limitations, and high-frequency materials. Hands-on experience with

flex circuit design

, ribbon cables, coax, and board-to-board connectors. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's required). Experience leading design reviews or acting as a technical mentor. Exposure to hardware platform development for networking or data center products. Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-regional teams.
