As a Network Engineer with MTSI, you will join a small, energetic team to build and maintain a high-fidelity cloud environment. The purpose of this environment is to streamline the acquisition process between the stages of Analysis, Prototyping, Enterprise Testing, and Program of Record Transition.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage networking technologies in the AWS cloud.
Develop networking solutions with an emphasis on SDN and SD-WAN technologies.
Support the software engineering team by gathering and analyzing network metrics.
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
Automate infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CDK.
Ensure security and compliance.
Collaborate with a national team of subject matter experts.
Qualifications: Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a Network Engineer or Architect. Strong understanding of SDN and SD-WAN technologies. Ability to design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructures. Experience troubleshooting and resolving network issues. Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work efficiently with small, distributed teams.
Desired Qualifications:
Cisco, Juniper, or VMWare SD-WAN cloud experience. Python development and scripting skills. Experience developing and integrating networks for the DoD.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Network Engineering, Information Technologies, or a related field. Network certifications and experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Security Clearance:
Must be eligible for Secret security clearance; active Secret preferred. Must be eligible for Top Secret (TS)/SCI clearance; active TS/SCI highly desired. U.S. Citizenship is required.
