Fort Lauderdale, Florida About The Job In short we are seeking a developer who can be part of a team responsible for our Customer Front Facing Interface and Shopping Cart. The Candidate should have experience working with Javascript and familiarity with Ruby on Rails, along with HAML and SASS. The front-end application will communicate with JSON APIs and be deeply integrated with the Ruby on Rails back-end application. The candidate is expected to use git for version control and have experience using CI/CD pipelines, basic Linux commands, and more. T his is NOT a remote job offer. We are looking for an IN-HOUSE developer in our Fort Lauderdale headquarters data center facility.
Qualifications: Experience with Ruby (a plus) and Proficiency in front-end development technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Ability to work with APIs from multiple sources and normalize data Experience with unit tests and automated testing tools Firm understanding software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, debugging, and complexity analysis Past work on open source projects or have working solutions in your GitHub account POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The developer will be responsible for developing UI components for a top-class user experience Build UX components for front-end applications in Javascript, HAML, and SASS Use modern Javascript tools like Webpacker and Yarn to manage dependencies Identify and address performance bottlenecks and bugs in business logic Maintain code quality and test automation Collaborate with product managers to define precise requirements, software deliverables, and milestones Work closely with UI designers to enhance our user experience Benefits: Our people are what make us more than one of a million other companies.
