Director of eCommerce – Americas , you will lead the growth, performance, and customer experience across all digital sales channels in the region. Responsible for both strategy and execution, this role oversees direct-to-consumer (Stokke.com), Amazon Seller Central, and retailer.com initiatives, including key partners such as Target, Nordstrom, and Saks. You will drive revenue, optimize conversion, manage performance reporting, and lead a high-performing cross-functional team across the digital ecosystem. This role is a critical member of the Americas Leadership Team and will work closely with global digital, brand, and marketing stakeholders to adapt and localize the eCommerce strategy for maximum impact. This position is based in the U.S. and reports to the General Manager, Americas, with a dotted line to the Global Chief Digital Officer. Key Responsibilities: Regional Digital Strategy & Leadership Lead the execution of Stokke’s global eCommerce strategy across the Americas, including Stokke.com, Amazon Seller Central, and premium retail.com accounts. Own the digital P&L for DTC and marketplace channels, delivering top-line sales and profitability goals. Localize global initiatives to align with regional consumer behavior, compliance, and sales cycles. Drive long-term vision and annual planning for digital growth and performance. Oversee performance across brand.com, Amazon, and retail partner platforms. Guide campaigns, promotional strategies, and merchandising calendars tailored to the Americas region. Ensure seamless product positioning, UX, and conversion optimization across all touchpoints. Collaborate with global teams on content, site optimization, SEO/SEM, and digital media. Retail Media & Marketplace Execution Manage Amazon Seller Central team and vendor relationship, with a focus on sales growth and ROAS. Partner with retailers to enhance Stokke's brand presence and consumer journey on their eCommerce platforms. Align digital media spend and optimization strategy across key marketplace and retail partners. Lead testing and promotional planning to maximize digital shelf presence. Performance Reporting & Analytics Analyze digital performance and consumer behavior to guide conversion and optimization initiatives. Own KPIs and reporting frameworks; support performance marketing and CRO efforts. Share insights and best practices to contribute to global roadmap development and local market feedback loops. Compliance & Localization Ensure compliance with U.S. market-specific regulations, legal disclaimers, and privacy standards. Tailor product messaging and promotional strategy for local relevance while maintaining global brand integrity. Better Together – The Ideal Profile Directly lead the Americas eCommerce team, including: Amazon: Site Merchant, Site Analytics, Retail Media Specialist DTC: Digital Marketing Specialist, Site Merchant Collaborate cross-functionally with local and global stakeholders in Sales, Brand, and Digital. Education Required: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field. Experience Required: 10+ years of experience in digital commerce leadership roles, ideally in premium consumer goods. Demonstrated success managing owned DTC eCommerce and Amazon Seller Central. Experience with digital marketing channels (SEM, SEO, display), analytics, and merchandising. Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, or equivalent platforms. Knowledge of CMS, PIM, Confluence, Jira, Smartsheet, and analytics tools (GA4, Hotjar). Proven team leadership experience within a matrixed, cross-functional environment. Special Requirements: Fluent in English; other languages a plus. Strong commercial acumen with a customer-first mindset. Ability to translate global strategy into regional execution. Excellent organizational, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels.
