SBC Innovations is seeking a junior-level engineer with a thorough understanding of the design, configuration, and management of an enterprise Active Directory and Zscaler environment in support of the technical solutions task order for the Executive Office for the U.S. Attorneys (EOUSA) and the U.S. Attorneys’ Offices (USAOs). The organization is undergoing a modernization initiative to enhance its identity management, security posture, and cloud-based network access. To achieve this, the organization seeks an Active Directory SME with extensive experience in Zscaler solutions to provide technical leadership, implementation, and operational support. The candidate should also have working knowledge of Windows Servers and networking (VLANs, TCP/IP, firewalls, etc).

The primary scope of duties shall be Active Directory Management and Zscaler into the EOUSA information system. Additionally, duties will include creating and maintaining SDLC documentation such as Detailed Designs, Implementation Plans and Operations Guides. Additional duties for which the candidate shall perform include : Design and deployment of Active Directory components such as Organizational Units, Group Policies, and DNS records. Design and deployment of Zscaler Qualifications, Required Experience, etc:

Working understanding of project management best practices. Working knowledge of: o Active Directory § Deploy and configure Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA). § Integrate Zscaler with Active Directory for seamless authentication and policy enforcement. § Optimize Zscaler configurations for performance and security. § Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Zscaler solutions o Documentation § Develop comprehensive documentation for all configurations, processes, and procedures. § Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training for internal IT staff. o Powershell or other scripting tools Supplemental/Preferred Additional Qualifications/Experience

: Experience in Federal Government IT environments Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) Relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified, Identity and Access Administrator, Zscaler Certified Cloud Professional). Disaster Recovery planning and deployment Salary is Negotiable Job Type: Full-Time W2 or 1099/C2C Clearance Level

– Must be able to obtain for the position Public Trust Location: Remote 80% ( onsite once a week if located in Washington, DC) Typical Education and Experience Typically, a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, along with 8 + years of work experience, or equivalent experience in a related area, is required for this position. This educational background provides a solid foundation for understanding the complexities of systems integration and management. The pay range for this role is: 115,000 - 125,000 USD per year (Remote (Washington, District of Columbia, US)) Office of Federal and Civilian Remote (Washington, District of Columbia, US)
