The role of
Director, Advocacy & Influence
will be primarily responsible for developing and overseeing CPD’s advocacy and influence strategy in partnership with the VP of Consumer Engagement & Content and with collaboration and feedback from the Brand teams across the division. This includes creating a cohesive approach aligned with L’Oréal USA (LUSA) and global division frameworks, focusing on driving awareness, engagements, conversions, and creator retention. They will also lead creation, and activation of social, influencer, and community-led advocacy and influence programs for CPD Multibrand campaigns and events.
This person will be the main point of contact for our agency partners, managing the operations at a divisional level, inclusive of scope, governance, and compliance. They will develop and maintain operational documentation to track activations, spend, and impact to allow us to better inform decisions and strategy. They will also be responsible for monthly reporting across A&I KPIs and data analysis to identify gaps and areas of opportunity.

What You Will Do
Own strategic development and activation of A&I campaigns for CPD Multibrand projects including influencer management, experiential activation, sampling/seeding, and community management. Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional partners in Media and DDX on multibrand media partnerships, cultural moments, and retailer events. Implement and adapt corporate advocacy metrics, guiding CPD brand teams in monitoring proprietary LUSA metrics and leveraging relevant measurement tools to track progress, optimize performance, and cultivate brand love. Manage the A&I AOR partnership for divisional compliance, scope adherence, and overall performance. Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop, implement and document streamlined and efficient processes to maximize activation to execution timing and flow. Participate in Division + CDMO A&I SteerCo, serving as voice of BELs in development of new ways of working, rules of engagement, relevant RFPs, and Groupe compliance. Analyze influencer marketing performance data from various sources (platforms, agencies, raw data) to measure impact on business objectives, track KPIs, and provide regular reports to brand teams and executives. Work with Advanced Analytics, Social Listening, and partner agencies to develop/monitor benchmarks, identify emerging trends, and deliver actionable insights. Facilitate communication and best-practice sharing within CPD’s brand engagement community, incorporating insights from other divisions and industry trends. Lead the relationship with internal stakeholders and external agencies for everything related to influencer management, product seeding, and measurement.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree CPG marketing expertise Ability to navigate a diverse and highly matrixed organization Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate complicated concepts and recommended courses of action to engage & influence key stakeholders Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights and optimizations. Shows curiosity, imagines creative solutions generating business value, promotesteam/agency creativity and utilizes data to draw new insights. Highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work independently, while also able to build strong internal relationships and consensus on initiatives
