Associate Director, IT
leads IASLCs day-to-day IT operations, driving forward the infrastructure and systems that support the organization's global mission. This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient technology performance while aligning platforms and tools with strategic organizational goals. The
Associate Director
plays a critical role in supporting data accessibility, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, helping IASLC become a more insight-driven organization. Primary responsibilities include supervising internal IT support, managing vendor relationships - including a Managed Services Provider (MSP) - and collaborating across departments to support user needs, data priorities, and operational performance. The
Associate Director, IT
must be an organized self-starter with strong management and people skills, who can effectively problem solve and prioritize workload to meet organizational needs and timelines. This supervisory, exempt position is physically based in our downtown Denver, CO office on a hybrid work schedule. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). Sponsorship and relocation are not available. In this role, you will: Oversee and manage IASLCs IT infrastructure, including systems administration, cloud services, cybersecurity, end-user support, and hardware/software lifecycle management. Serve as primary point of contact with IASLCs Managed Services Provider (MSP), ensuring clear communication, high performance, and alignment with organizational needs. Lead the administration and strategic evolution of IASLCs Association Management System (AMS), currently Fonteva on Salesforce, ensuring integration, usability, and effective data practices. Responsible for developing and executing proactive business continuity plans and risk management protocols for IT systems, including procedures to minimize downtime, safeguard resources, and ensure business continuity and viability. Establish and manage centralized processes for the acquisition of new software, offboarding of retired software, systems to store and recover data from multiple systems used by different departments, and procedures and schedules for regular software updates to key platforms. Provide oversight, coordination, and management of IASLC hardware, including budget, purchasing, replacement schedules, hardware setup, and assignment of licenses for new or existing users. Collaborate across departments to ensure effective deployment, use, and evolution of tools, including workflows, reporting, dashboards, automation, and user support. Provide day-to-day leadership and management of IT staff and/or contractors, ensuring responsive service, technical excellence, and proactive communication. Manage technology vendors and contracts, ensuring service quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance. Actively support and demonstrate IASLC core values. What makes the IASLC the place for you? Employees are based in our Denver office and are allowed to work remotely 2-3 days per week. Compensation:
$100,000-110.000 annually, depending on related experience. We believe the best solutions come from diverse teams. A successful candidate will have the following qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network or Systems Administration, or related field. Relevant computer certifications may be considered. Minimum 7 years of progressive IT experience with a focus on infrastructure, system administration, and organizational technology support. Minimum of 2 years in managing and mentoring IT staff. Experience working with or managing a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or directly managing IT infrastructure in-house. Hands-on experience with Salesforce and AMS platforms (preferably Fonteva) or other similar CRM systems, including data integration and system configuration. Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and cloud-based environments. Experience with vendor selection and relationship management. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Eligibility to work in U.S. (U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status).
