The Business Information Security Officer (BISO) will be a key member of the Business Information Security Officers (BISO) organization, working closely with the Global Banking and Markets (GBAM) Chief Information Officers (CIOs)/Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) teams. The role involves developing a strong understanding of the business to facilitate specialized, risk-based information security discussions. This relationship will focus on aligning on the right risk priorities. The Business Information Security Officer will serve as the day-to-day contact, providing guidance on information security topics, policies, and controls, ultimately becoming a trusted advisor to stakeholders. The BISO will act as a subject matter expert in developing, implementing, and maintaining information security for the line of business (LOB). Responsibilities include advising LOB management on security risks, supporting security investments, and ensuring compliance with broader risk management programs. The successful candidate will: - Provide advisory and oversight for security-related changes in the GBAM environment, collaborating with regional security consultants and global operational teams. - Support risk teams by developing processes and solutions. - Coordinate with the global BISO organization to ensure effective communication of GIS requirements and initiatives. - Establish and maintain stakeholder networks. - Conduct liaison activities across risk and technology groups to address vulnerabilities and remediation efforts. - Drive remediation of GIS issues, ensuring alignment with standards. Required Skills: - Experience in an information security operations, engineering, or consulting role with knowledge of security controls and processes. - Strong interpersonal skills for communicating and negotiating with senior stakeholders. - Mid to senior-level experience with application security controls and risk management. - Understanding of vulnerability management and monitoring solutions. Desirable Skills: - Experience with formal security risk assessment methodologies. - Technical understanding of technology infrastructure operations. - Prior experience in a financial institution. - Ability to manage work priorities independently. - Excellent communication skills for delivering messages and resolving issues. - Ability to produce and present management reports. Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours Per Week: 40 Pay Transparency: The pay range is $99,200.00 - $145,100.00 annually, with offers based on experience, education, and skills. The role is eligible for discretionary incentives and benefits, including paid time off and resources to support employee growth.
