Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr WHY EPLUS: We are Technology Consulting Firm based in Chicago Suburbs and offer excellent: Compensation/Bonus/Profit Share/Benefits and a Fun Culture Technology Only Focused on: ICT, Physical Security, AV, DAS, Wi-Fi and IoT Fastrack to Sr. Leadership Work-from-home hybrid or full remote if outside of Chicagoland Position Description: Primarily responsible for providing data center design services and Team Leader. The candidate must have a thorough understanding of Data Center technology infrastructure design practices Hyper-Scaler Standards and the ability to utilize that expertise to liaise with the client, developer, Installation contractors and all related trades design team members. This includes the ability to manage a design team of 3 to 5 technology engineers, manage client expectations, meet deadlines, develop and coordinate the appropriate design solutions for the ultimate goal of a successful project delivery. Responsibilities
: SYSTEMS: ICT Data Infrastructure design implementation for Data Center Technology projects: Outside/Inside Fiber Plant, Data Cabling Pathways, Conveyance, Grounding, Wi-Fi, and related Data Systems. PROJECTS: Hyper-Scaler Single Tenant, Co-Location and Enterprise Data Centers: 1MW to 108MW and multi-provider campuses. DESIGN: Design of Construction Documents (drawings and specifications). REVIEW: Design review utilizing Revit, Autodesk Construction, BuildingConnected and Bluebeam Sessions. FIELD INSPECTIONS: On-site inspections and development of field reports with national travel to project sites within the continental US. QUALITY CONTROL: Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Assist with Business Development and Client Outreach Events Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in Data Center Infrastructure Design & Construction REVIT and BIM Software Skills - Mandatory Preferred Certifications (Not required): RCDD, OSP, PMP, PSP, RTPM, CTS.
