Analyze the market landscape proactively to mitigate supply chain risks and position Corsair for success.
Mentorship:

Position Summary, Responsibilities and Expectations:
Manage procurement of goods and services, oversee the supply chain to ensure delivery, and address obstacles affecting productivity.
Develop cost-effective purchasing strategies for materials.
Maintain and expand supplier relationships.
Evaluate spending and improve quality and delivery timeliness.
Communicate regularly with management on supply flow.
Conduct cost analyses and establish benchmarks.
Develop risk management procedures for shortages.
Supervise and delegate tasks to the purchasing team.
Collaborate with legal to ensure favorable contract terms.
Supplier Management:
Evaluate supplier reliability through visits, reports, audits, and data analysis.
Manage RFI/RFP processes, analyze responses, and support supplier onboarding.
Maintain supplier scorecards and conduct quarterly reviews.
Align supplier management strategies with Corsair’s business objectives.
Cost Management:
Negotiate favorable prices and terms with suppliers.
Lead lifecycle cost reduction projects.
Monitor spending and savings, set targets, and develop global strategies.
Manage excess and obsolete inventory risks.
Sourcing and Contract Management:
Identify and expand supplier base to maintain cost advantages and supply availability.
Negotiate purchase agreements and collaborate with legal on risk mitigation.
Cross-functional Team Collaboration:
Work with product development, engineering, quality, and operations teams.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, maintain supplier relationships, and leverage manufacturing expertise to optimize supply chain performance.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
10+ years in procurement, negotiation, and people management.
Proven track record in high-level negotiations and global team leadership.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills.
Experience in the computer industry is a plus.
Willingness to travel globally.
For roles based in Milpitas, CA, the annual salary range is $140,000—$150,000 USD, dependent on various factors.
