Job Description: Senior Sourcing Manager
The Senior Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies that drive best-in-class performance across key spend areas. This role manages supplier relationships and internal networks to achieve strategic goals that support both bottom-line and top-line growth, while promoting corporate social responsibility. The manager leads complex, cross-functional global sourcing teams and oversees a global spend exceeding $200 million, depending on market complexity. This position may also mentor or manage other procurement professionals.
Key Projects
Tier 2 Ingredient Sourcing:
Focus on eggs and bread categories
Supplier onboarding, product matching, compliance assurance
Pricing strategy, risk management, and project execution
RFP evaluation and analysis for bread sourcing
Cross-functional alignment with planning, QA, and product teams
Daily Responsibilities Supplier engagement and relationship management
Price negotiation and contract oversight
Coordination with planning and sourcing teams
Collaboration with product development teams
Project management and execution
Team Interaction Highly collaborative environment
Regular engagement with planners, sourcing, QA, and product/menu teams
Work split: 70% collaborative, 30% independent
Technology Requirements Microsoft Office Suite
Tableau (data gathering and analysis)
Power BI (data gathering and analysis)
Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in sourcing, preferably in food, beverage, or ingredient categories
Skills:
Ingredient and commodity sourcing
Cross-functional project leadership
Strong communication and attention to detail
Strategic thinking and risk mitigation
Certifications: CPM preferred (not required)
Preferred Qualifications Strong sourcing acumen and data analytics skills
Experience developing and driving sourcing strategies
Creative problem-solving and solutioning
Leadership communication skills
Background in food and beverage sourcing
Familiarity with risk identification and mitigation
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
