The Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) at Leidos currently has an opening for a
Senior Signal Processing Engineer
to support EW programs in Arlington, VA or San Diego, CA. As a
LInC EW Senior Signal Processing Engineer , you will be responsible for research, design, and development of signal collection, processing, and dissemination systems. Duties include designing, developing, and analyzing systems for extracting information from signal sensors. You will support the division by achieving program objectives, leading technical teams, and participating in business development activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision, be a team player, and establish solid working relationships with technical staff and external government customers. Regular tasks include: Developing novel and advanced algorithms, performance simulation, and analysis using simulated and real data in both time series and spectral domains. Supporting marketing and business development initiatives by developing technical solutions and new ideas for capture efforts (e.g., BAAs, RFPs). Participating in and/or leading lab-based and field testing. Leading and/or engaging in multiple projects. - May serve as Technical Team Lead. - Communicating results via briefings and written reports to team members, customers, and management. At

Join us and make a difference in Advanced Warfare Technology! Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. 8+ years' experience in radar signal processing. Proficiency with tools like MATLAB, Linux, Mathematica, Python, Simulink, and languages such as C/C++, Java. Knowledge in digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, linear algebra, and stochastic processes. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Motivated to learn and adapt to new challenges. Leadership experience with small multidisciplinary teams or projects. Strong oral and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields. Experience leading tasks or teams. Experience in EW, SIGINT, or radar fields as a technical leader. Business development and capture experience, including proposals and white papers. Experience in modeling and simulation, radar, adaptive radar, signal processing, SAR, or similar fields. Note:
Salary range is $150,000 - $217,000 for qualified candidates with an active clearance and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Must be able to work onsite in Arlington, VA or San Diego, CA.
