As our Sr Accounting Manager, you will report to the NA Accounting Director. You will lead the accounting operations of specific business units and activities. You will manage a team of accounting professionals, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, and improving projec ts. On a given day, you may:Team Leadership & Develop ment: Lead a diverse team of accounting professionals across multiple sites, encouraging a collaborative culture. Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunit ies. Close Process Manag ement: Oversee the accounting close process to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and JBT Marel standards. Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews, oversee audits, and ensure the integrity of financial transact ions. Process Improvement & St rategy: Lead strategic projects for the Accounting CoE, focusing on standardization, optimization, and process improvement. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and, leveraging technology and automation tools. Collaboration & Knowledge
Sharing: Collaborate with CoE leadership to lead process enhancements and facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-training within the team. Share and implement best practices in accounting with other l eaders. Project Management & Technology Implem entation: Lead close improvement initiatives, develop project plans, and coordinate efforts. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and ERP systems to improve ope rations. Requirements for the roleBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a manager ial role.knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting s tandards.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, J DE, SL9).Experience ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) co mpliance.Change managemen t skills.You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in th e future. Travel & ; LocationYou will be under a hybrid model, and we ask that you travel approximately 10% of the time (USA) on a quarte rly basis. COMPENSA TION RANGE: $115,000-$190,000.
