A law firm is seeking an
Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney
for its Minneapolis office. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience handling insurance coverage disputes within the commercial insurance sector. This role involves working within the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group.
Duties
Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation matters.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with attention to detail.
Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
Manage and prioritize a diverse caseload.
Collaborate with partners on complex litigation matters.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, judges, mediators, arbitrators, and other parties involved in litigation.
Participate in strategy discussions and case planning.
Requirements
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
Admission to the state bar in the office location.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation.
Ability to interface directly with attorneys and clients.
Proven ability to work independently and efficiently.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Capability to handle multiple projects effectively.
Ability to develop and execute legal strategies.
Commitment to the local community.
Education
Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Admission to the state bar.
Skills
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to develop and implement legal strategies.
