A day in the life of a Leasing Director at VF includes: Building the pipeline of new store locations and lease actions for our Outdoor and Action Sports brands. Executing strategies, coordinating the real estate leasing process, and managing all elements and participants, including Senior Retail Business Leaders, Legal, Finance, Accounting, Store Planning/Construction, Lease Administration, and Store Operations. Partnering with the Senior Director of Retail Leasing and Construction to research, identify, and secure successful real estate locations by analyzing data and performance metrics. Supporting market analysis, site selection, and preparing Real Estate Committee approval packages. Maintaining the existing store portfolio and communicating with Construction, Facilities, Operations, Landlords, and Developers. Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more. Leading leasing activities for new stores aligned with long-term expansion strategies. Owning the site approval process and ensuring stakeholder involvement, including data analysis and presentation preparation. Developing strategic relationships with external partners like landlords, brokers, and vendors. Managing the company’s real estate portfolio of over 700 stores, including relocations, new stores, renewals, and closures. Traveling to market areas for site inspections and competitor evaluations. What do you need to succeed? We value your unique skills. For this role, you need: A degree in Real Estate, Finance, or equivalent experience. 10+ years of leasing experience with a retail or landlord organization. Knowledge of the US retail landscape and landlord/tenant relationships. A proven track record of executing real estate strategies supporting business growth. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in lease negotiation, review, and drafting. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in software like Excel and Word. Up to 25% travel, including market visits and industry events. $162,432 - $203,040 annually. Incentive Potential:
