Bowhead is seeking a Videographer for an upcoming effort in Washington, DC. The Videographer performs daily services including video operations, preventive maintenance, video capture, and use of archiving systems. Core responsibilities include camera operation to shoot and record high-profile, live and staged programs, events, meetings, and conferences. Essential functions encompass live video production, post-production, archiving, and customer service. The role involves documenting VIP daily activities for the National Archives and recording historical events. Responsibilities
Operate and maintain broadcast-quality audio and video documentation and recording systems. Set up, operate, and maintain broadcast, production, and AV equipment. Use professional video cameras in various formats for mobile and fixed scenarios. Plan camera movements prior to shooting; make real-time adjustments during live events following master control instructions. Set up, operate cameras, and perform multi-camera live event switching. Prepare recorded material for archiving following recordings, adhering to SOPs. Monitor equipment performance, report issues, and coordinate repairs. Work collaboratively with team members and maintain high-quality customer service. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience. Ability to understand and apply audio, visual, and power-related mathematics. Basic mechanical aptitude. Understanding of audio-visual equipment and concepts. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional demeanor, patience, flexibility, and strong customer-service skills. Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to twist, bend, and squat periodically. Salary range is $45,000 - $95,000, commensurate with experience. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. US Citizenship is required for this clearance at this location. #LI-JS1
