Non-Invasive Cardiologist Jacksonville, Florida We are seeking a skilled Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our Jacksonville practice.

The Cardiologist will specialize in the diagnosis, management, and follow-up of patients with suspected or known heart disease, focusing primarily on outpatient care.
This role emphasizes continuity of care, health maintenance, and preventive medicine for an elderly patient population.The Cardiologist will manage a variety of cardiac conditions-including heart attacks, abnormal rhythms, and congestive heart failure-while working alongside a collaborative team of physicians and advanced practice providers.
This role is 100% clinically focused on direct patient care, including both patient-facing time and related administrative responsibilities (e.g., charting).
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology services, including diagnosis, management, preventive care, and follow-up.Manage complex cardiac conditions such as acute coronary syndromes, arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, and other heart and vascular diseases.Perform and interpret approximately 8 echocardiographic procedures per day.Deliver preventative cardiac care focused on improving long-term health outcomes.Maintain strong patient relationships through appointment lengths averaging 20-40 minutes.Collaborate with a growing team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.Share after-hours call responsibilities with assigned NP/PA and additional FTEs (no hospital call; call volume averages 1-2 calls per weekend, typically related to blood pressure or medication inquiries).Travel between two to four centers within the Jacksonville market, with mileage reimbursement provided.
Practice Structure Reports directly to the Regional Medical Director.Support staff ratio: approximately 1.5 medical assistants per practitioner.Stress testing is performed via exercise or dobutamine stress echo (nuclear testing and Coronary CTA are referred to local radiology centers).Future addition of a full-time Cardiology NP/PA to support practice growth.Current Jacksonville team includes 20 MDs/DOs and 16 NP/PAs.
Qualifications Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.Completed residency and fellowship training in Cardiology (minimum 5+ years combined training).Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Florida (or eligibility to obtain).Board-certification or board-eligibility in Cardiology.Commitment to practicing within a value-based care model.Willingness and ability to practice across multiple clinical sites in Jacksonville.
