The position offers broad ownership across the hardware system development lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, and coordination of validation and certification activities. This hands-on role involves close collaboration with ASIC, sensor, software, product, and operations teams to define requirements and build development platforms, reference systems, and production hardware. Key Responsibilities: Lead multiple aspects of hardware system engineering for flagship AI products Define requirements with cross-functional teams and execute system bring-up through to production Perform schematic capture, PCB design, and system integration around a custom AI ASIC Plan and execute compliance, validation, and FMEA activities Drive parts selection and vendor qualification in coordination with operations and manufacturing Key Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering 10+ years of end-to-end hardware system design experience Expertise in schematic capture, PCB layout, signal integrity, and thermal/mechanical design Experience with AVL management, manufacturing operations, and contract manufacturing Familiarity with EVT/DVT/PVT and certification processes Self-driven and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment By applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
