Electrical Design Engineer | Up to $4k | 5 Days | Kranji
Working location: Mandai Link (Nearest MRT: Kranji)
Working hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
Salary: $3,500 - $4,000
Job Responsibilities:
Read and interpret customized power generator control circuits, including PLC programming, Networking, HMI, and switchgear layout.
Assist Sales Engineers with technical specifications and attend technical meetings at customer sites.
Coordinate with customers to resolve technical issues and meet their requirements.
Support and troubleshoot control issues remotely via phone and email.
Coordinate with Site Engineers and Superintendents during site commissioning.
Handle factory internal testing and Factory Acceptance Tests in the workshop with customer presence.
Support programming troubleshooting remotely via internet or computer devices.
Monitor projects through to completion, providing necessary corrections, modifications, or assistance to other departments.
Job Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, including power engineering.
Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in power generation controls, electrical switchgear, or automation control between 400V to 15kV.
Experience with low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear design, control panel development, and power system studies.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, E3, or other CAD tools.
Experience in PLC and HMI (touchscreen and/or IPC) programming.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, plans, drawings, and prints.
Good knowledge of diesel and gas engine generator control interfaces with PLC logic programming.
Knowledge of network communication interfacing and SCADA is a plus.
Willing to travel overseas for frequent site visits.
