The focus is on client onboarding, renewal strategy, and continuous performance improvement. This position offers rare access to niche markets and specialized industry expertise. Key Responsibilities The Account Executive will be a senior client-facing team member and will: Lead onboarding and renewal processes for assigned accounts, managing timelines, deliverables, and expectations.

Act as the primary relationship manager for HR teams, executives, and carrier/vendor partners.

Strategize and recommend plan design changes, cost containment initiatives, and benchmarking insights.

Ensure accurate documentation and workflow management within internal systems such as Employee Navigator and HubSpot.

Guide team members and interface with carriers and vendors to support client objectives and execution.

Proactively identify opportunities to expand service offerings and improve client satisfaction.

Position Functions

Lead onboarding and renewal planning across assigned clients.

Serve as a consultative advisor, improving benefit plan performance and employee engagement.

Analyze performance metrics and deliver strategic recommendations.

Resolve complex issues through collaborative, strategic solutions.

Stay current on carrier underwriting guidelines and market trends.

Provide ACA, COBRA, and compliance-related support.

Negotiate pricing and review policy conditions with carriers.

Prepare client-ready proposals and benefit summaries.

Document client interactions and risk strategies thoroughly.

Participate in client and carrier meetings (virtual and on-site).

Assist with cross-selling and referral initiatives.

Ensure compliance with agency E&O documentation standards.

Contribute to internal process improvements and best practices.

Skills & Experience

Required: 5+ years of employee benefits/insurance experience (broker, carrier, or consultancy).

Proficiency with group products (medical, dental, life, AD&D, disability).

Expertise in fully insured, minimum premium, ASO, and especially self-insured arrangements.

Strong Employee Navigator skills (portal setup, file feeds, carrier integration, client training).

Active Life, Health & Accident Insurance License.

Advanced communication, strategic problem-solving, and client management skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred: Familiarity with Applied Epic, HubSpot, Zywave, FormFire.

Knowledge of payroll platforms such as ADP and Paychex.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Project management experience or training preferred.

Additional Considerations

Must pass any required background or drug screening.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Participation in virtual or in-person team/client meetings is expected.
