Project Manager – Marine Construction

Hybrid (Office + Field Site Visits)
Compensation:
$120,000 – $150,000 annually + full benefits A leading marine and heavy civil contractor is seeking a seasoned
Project Manager
to take ownership of large-scale waterfront infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in coastal or marine construction who thrives on managing logistics, people, and project delivery from kickoff to closeout. You’ll work directly with Superintendents, Engineers, Owners, and Regulatory Agencies to ensure projects stay on track — technically, financially, and safely. What You’ll Do:
Lead all phases of marine construction projects: planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout
Collaborate with field teams to ensure daily work aligns with project scope and timeline
Review design documents, permits, and technical specifications for constructability and compliance
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and third-party consultants
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and change orders
Lead regular progress meetings and maintain accurate project documentation (Procore, MS Project, etc.)
Ensure safety and environmental regulations are enforced and integrated into planning
Communicate proactively with clients, permitting agencies, and internal stakeholders
Support equipment planning, mobilization, and logistics for marine operations
Identify project risks early and develop proactive mitigation strategies
What You Bring:
8+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in marine or heavy civil
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience managing projects involving pile driving, cofferdams, dredging, concrete, and marine lifts
Familiarity with environmental permitting for coastal/marine projects
Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Proficiency in Procore, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite
A track record of delivering complex projects safely, on time, and within budget
Willingness to travel for site visits or field coordination as needed
Bonus Points For:
USACE or DOT project experience
OSHA 30 and/or PMP Certification
BIM coordination exposure
