The Role:
As our Senior Accountant, you will be a key player in our finance team, responsible for the full scope of the monthly financial close. You will own the accounts receivable and payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will work independently and coordinate with our external bookkeeping firm to ensure smooth financial operations.
What You'll Do
Financial Close:
Own the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, completing reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis to ensure data accuracy. Accounts Receivable (A/R):
Manage invoicing, billings, payments, and collections on past-due accounts. Accounts Payable (A/P):
Oversee vendor invoices, payments, and expense coding. Reporting:
Assist in preparing monthly financial statements for management review. Collaboration:
Serve as the main contact for our external bookkeeping firm, providing necessary documentation. Process Improvement:
Identify and implement accounting process enhancements. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 4-6+ years of accounting experience with US GAAP. Experience managing month-end close, A/R, and A/P processes. Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, Google Sheets, and Excel. Familiarity with Bill.com, Brex, and other AP platforms. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Nice To Have CPA or CPA candidate. Experience in SaaS or AI technology industries. Experience working with external accounting firms.
