UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE

We are seeking an individual with the skills to enable us to deliver high-quality data analytics services to our clients and develop innovative new services. This person will bring passion, teamwork, creativity, and excitement for working directly with CCS colleagues and our client partners.

Responsibilities

We help organizations unlock the full value of their constituent data. Our advanced analytics reveal opportunities to enhance efficiency and drive better results. Some of our processes include:

Identify high-value engagement opportunities by analyzing capacity, connection, and behavior. Uncover overlooked potential through deep portfolio evaluations. Pinpoint areas where automation can save time and sharpen focus.

By combining behavioral patterns, giving history, and external data, we deliver insights that guide smarter strategies and more efficient operations.

Qualifications

At least two years of experience in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, or applied data science. A bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Data Science, Math, or a related field (or comparable professional experience). Proficiency in R for statistical analysis, including the ability to build process automations, create reproducible analyses and reports (e.g., RMarkdown, Quarto), and connect to various databases and APIs for data extraction and integration. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development. Strong data visualization skills, with the ability to tell a compelling, data-driven story. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for clients. Comfort leading or contributing to client-facing meetings and presentations. Adaptability to manage changing workflows and priorities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in consulting, professional services, or nonprofit environments. Experience with cloud-based data storage and computing platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Databricks, Azure). Experience creating interactive data applications (e.g., Shiny, Streamlit) in R or Python. Familiarity with SQL, database design, and data integration from multiple sources (e.g., CRM systems, fundraising databases). Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipeline tools. Experience developing process automations using custom scripts, APIs, or functions to improve efficiency.

SALARY RANGE:

$90,000 - $120,000
