What You'll Do: Develop relationships quickly and easily with other teams and system owners, communicating the complexities of security with a wide variety of audiences, including senior management. Create and communicate software system architecture documentation to meet feature requirements. Guide the program development from prototype through operational fielding with government program management.

You Have: 5+ years of experience working on a space, ground, software, or hardware system for a Major Defense Acquisition Program. 3+ years of experience with systems engineering. Experience mapping system requirements to physical and functional architecture and conducting configuration management of system configurations. Experience with the development of technical specifications, interface control documents, integration plans and schedules, inter-service support agreements, system behavior diagrams, sequence diagrams, and network diagrams. Knowledge of DevSecOps or Agile software development, and systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2. Ability to be highly motivated and display a dynamic work ethic with a desire to contribute to the DoD mission. Ability to construct systems engineering deliverables independently with data from various sources. Ability to travel up to 25% of the time. Top Secret clearance. Bachelor's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics field.

Nice If You Have: Experience conducting or supporting space system Preliminary Design Reviews (PDRs), Critical Design Reviews (CDRs), Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), and System Verification Reviews (SVRs). Experience with high-complexity data systems and data management. Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space systems. Experience managing system delivery through the security accreditation and risk management processes, and managing technical schedules in Microsoft Project or similar tools. Knowledge of Air Force ISP Guide, JCIDS Manual, CJCSI 5123.01G, DODI 8330.01, AFMAN 33-407, and DODAF. Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 or 5000.02. Ability to be self-motivated, work independently, and create and manage systems engineering-related tasking with minimal program management guidance. TS/SCI clearance. Master's degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related technical field. INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP.
