Rockville, MD. Hybrid role with 2-3 days in-office. As a Senior Project Manager at fusionSpan, you will lead cross-functional teams of Consultants, Software Engineers, and Designers on medium and large-scale IT projects from initiation to launch. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in decision-making, problem-solving, stakeholder management, risk assessment and mitigation, project planning, sprint planning and grooming, and resource management. This role involves managing multiple project teams and clients, so comfort with accountability and leadership in a challenging, dynamic environment is essential. You should be self-driven, adaptable, and confident in leading projects to success. Responsibilities: Lead medium and large-scale IT projects, leveraging the Salesforce platform to deliver innovative solutions. Collaborate with teams to define scope and estimate project budgets, ensuring requirements are documented and approved. Plan projects from initiation to launch, utilizing agile methodologies, and lead scrum rituals. Manage and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring resource availability. Control, monitor, and report on project scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring quality standards are met. Communicate project status proactively and mitigate risks. Take ownership of project decisions, aligning with client goals and standards. Serve as the primary contact for clients, managing expectations. Maintain high client satisfaction through seamless project delivery. Keep project management platforms updated, such as PSA, Jira, Confluence, Google Drive, and Asana. Navigate challenging conversations with clients regarding scope, budget, and schedule. Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications: Strong technical background with understanding of agile, scrum, waterfall, and software development processes. Minimum 5 years of project management experience leading cross-functional teams on technical projects. Experience managing risks, scope, budget, and schedule. Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and stakeholder needs. Effective prioritization and multitasking skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce or enterprise CRM knowledge.
