Job Title: Electromechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join a dynamic manufacturing company as an Electromechanical Assembler, where you will have the opportunity to build sheet metal cafeteria carts from start to finish. This full-time position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 7am to 3:30pm, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. We are looking for a candidate with a strong commitment to quality and safety, who has experience working with both mechanical and electrical components.

Responsibilities

Assemble electromechanical components including wiring, switches, motors, and control panels into stainless steel cabinet systems.

Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly.

Install and test electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.

Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assembly tasks.

Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to resolve design or assembly issues.

Perform quality checks and troubleshoot any mechanical or electrical issues during the build process.

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.

Document assembly procedures and report any discrepancies or improvements.

Essential Skills

2+ years of experience in electromechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing or food service equipment environment.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong electro-mechanical aptitude, with familiarity in electrical components.

Ability to use assembly instructions and read blueprints/schematics.

Comfortable with squatting to the ground to electrically assemble the cables/wires.

Work Environment

Work in an industrial setting alongside a dedicated team of 15 people at the manufacturing site. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm, with potential overtime on Saturdays. Be prepared for a hands-on role where you will be an integral part of the team, contributing to the company's success.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orange, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
