We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented
Assembly Technician
to join our manufacturing team. The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling products or components according to blueprints, work instructions, or schematics while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This role plays a key part in the production process and contributes to the timely delivery of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical or electrical components using hand tools, power tools, or automated equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly
Perform functional and quality checks on completed assemblies
Identify and report any defects, malfunctions, or missing parts to supervisors
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company safety and 5S standards
Operate basic production equipment or machinery as needed
Record production data and complete necessary documentation
Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished goods for shipment
Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines
Follow all company safety policies and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic wiring experience
Use of basic power tools
Basic mechanical and assembly skills
Ability to use basic hand tools and measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, torque wrenches)
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production environment
Reliable attendance and punctuality
