Our client, an established Canadian Experiential Marketing agency is hiring a Director of Business Development to be based in their newly established Las Vegas location to lead the growth of their US client base. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic and expanding agency, driving growth and innovation in the experiential marketing industry. With an entrepreneurial spirit and industry expertise, you will play a crucial role in developing new business opportunities and optimizing their US operations as they continue expansion. Key Responsibilities Business Development Drive Client Relationships : Cultivate new and existing client relationships and revenue streams through the effective delivery of our clients services. Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans that align with company growth goals, including participation in creative concept development, presentations, and meetings. Best Practices : Propose and establish efficient ways of working, team structures, and best practices to attract and retain new business. Leadership : Serve as a senior member of the leadership team, collaborating with cross-functional teams in both US and Canadian offices to drive efficiencies. Client Network : Leverage your own network to expedite growth and secure new business. Lead Management Qualify Leads : Handle incoming business leads, qualify them, and manage them in coordination with the internal Creative & Strategy team to nurture and convert leads into profitable relationships. Business Leads : Actively search and network for new business opportunities, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and closing deals to increase market share and revenue. Client Relations Relationship Building : Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations to ensure long-term partnerships and business growth. Client Needs : Ensure that all client needs are listened to, understood, and responded to promptly, driving profitable revenue. Trusted Advisor : Understand clients’ business issues and serve as a trusted advisor to drive effective solutions. Sales Leadership & Brand Advocacy Win Strategy : Lead and oversee cross-disciplinary internal teams to drive towards winning client proposals. Brand Advocacy : Demonstrate our client as a trusted, strategic partner, fostering a spirit of service and innovation with clients and internal teams. Creative Collaboration : Collaborate with creative, sales, and marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract potential clients. Exceed Expectations : Champion extraordinary work, providing inspiration, leadership, and expertise in the agency’s offerings to exceed client expectations and achieve industry recognition. Reporting & Execution Reporting : Report directly to the CEO and C-level team, working closely with them to develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue and meet goals. New Account Acquisition : Take ownership of new account acquisition, both self-derived and assigned, driving the overall sales strategy. Proposal Development : Guide the development, writing, and presentation of bid responses, proposals, scopes of work, and budgets. Stakeholder Management : Manage internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales process to ensure the delivery of winning proposals. Sales Quotas : Achieve or exceed sales quotas, including prospecting and business development goals. CRM Management : Enter all contacts and opportunities into Salesforce. Trade Associations : Attend relevant trade associations and networking sessions to generate new sales opportunities and promote our clients brand.
