Unicorn Meat Factory (UMF) is a social media lifestyle brand built for fans, the obsessed, and the chronically online. Alongside that, I’m building a brand-facing division : a creative marketing agency designed to help brands connect with digital culture in ways that feel authentic, participatory, and impossible to ignore.

This isn’t just another agency chasing viral trends. The goal is to reimagine what social media marketing can be—moving beyond “cool videos” and one-off stunts into campaigns that actually invite audiences to engage, perform, and participate. Think of it as creative marketing rooted in the culture of the internet, not imposed on top of it.

UMF is a small, boutique-style venture — essentially a start-up studio for people who are ambitious, restless, and ready to break from industry standards. I’m looking for a partner who isn’t afraid to try new things, who sees opportunities where others see risk, and who thrives in building something from the ground up.

Candidate Option 1 -

What you’ll do:

  • Leverage your network to bring in brand clients looking for fresh social media marketing approaches
  • Build and nurture new connections with decision-makers in marketing, branding, and media
  • Collaborate on shaping pitches, strategies, and bold ideas for prospective clients
  • Wear multiple hats — primarily driving business development, but also contributing to campaign direction as opportunities grow

What I’m looking for:

  • Junior or Mid-level experience in marketing, social media, or brand partnerships
  • Strong existing relationships in the industry, with a proven ability to connect with decision-makers
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — not afraid of building something from the ground up
  • A feel for internet culture and social media trends, and how brands can tap into them authentically
  • Ambition to break from “business as usual” and do things differently than the traditional agency model
  • Ideally based in New York City , though open to the right partner outside of NYC
